No.
proud2serve.net has
no official relationship with the Ministry of Defence or any of the
individual Services. However it is run by service personnel and partners
for the benefit of the military community. If any issues are raised
in the forums or directly with the moderators we will pass these on
anonymously to one of the Services to allow them the opportunity to
reply via the site, such that everyone can benefit from the response.
Why should I register?
Well let's be real about this. We care about your
privacy and the privacy of this community. There are publicly accessible
areas with some main content on networking, rights, partnership and
access. However the advantage of the password-controlled registered
area is that developing a trusting community where you can share personal
impressions, problems, successes and advice. This area is not yet
live but subject to conceptual development with selected members of
the public forum.
Why do you insist on positive ID checks?
Think about it. There are lots of service personnel
who may think about joining this kind of site but are worried and concerned
about who else will have access to the details. This is why we insist
on positive ID checks before allowing entry. This refers to the
members-only area which is not yet live but subject to conceptual development
with selected members
of
the public forum.
I am in the Police / Ambulance Service
/ Coastguard / RAC why can't I join?
This is not a community for the uniformed and
emergency services. It has been designed to be aimed specifically at
Her Majesty's Armed Forces, serving and recently ex-serving regulars
and reservists and the special lifestyle and circumstances that come
with the Queen's Shilling. There are other sites for the uniformed
and emergency services' gay men. Amongst these you might try uniformdating.com and
Gay Police.
