The Opening address was given by Ben Summerskill, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stonewall.  During which he gave an update on the Single Equality Bill and the work that Stonewall was still undertaking at this late stage in Westminster.  This work was to ensure all inequalities that directly affected the LGB community were addressed.  He also summarised and praised the on going visibility and progress that the military have continued to make since 2000.
