Kia Ora.

In recent months personnel from the NZDF have been working closely with our buddies across the ditch in Aussie to establish links with DEFGLIS - the ADF's Defence Gay & Lesbian Information Service. We're in the process of establishing 'DEFGLIS NZ' (essentially a kiwi branch of DEFGLIS) so if anybody is keen to get involved or simply find out more, please drop me a line at stuart.pearce@nzdf.mil.nz

Cheers,

Blunty (Stu).

...I feel a 'visit of diplomacy' between our 3 nations is needed to share our knowledge and experience. I cordially volunteer to do this at taxpayers expense!

Well, I've been chatting with my counterpart across in Aussie and there may well be scope for a Military LGBT conference down under at some stage in the future. Needless to say the UK would be invited. The aim would be to collectively share resources and experience on dealing with LGBT issues. If the budget can stretch to it we'd love to see you guys down here.
