Repeal of DADT not affecting morale or readinessThe US Defence Secretary, Leon Panetta, said today that the repeal of the ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ (DADT) policy, which prohibited openly gay personnel from serving in the military, has not affected military morale or readiness.

Stonewall has launched a new campaign reassuring gay school pupils that they don't have to wait for things to get better in their lives - they can be great now.

As part of this campaign Lance Corporal James Wharton talks about life in the British Army 10 years after the lifting of the ban on gay men and women serving in the British Armed Forces.
