NOTES FROM THE ARMY GROUP BREAK OUT SESSION AT THE JOINT SERVICES LGBT CONFERENCE FRIDAY 4 DEC 09

1.        Introduction.  These notes are a summary of the Army break out sessions and of other off line conversations and meetings during the Joint Service LGBT 09 Conference held at the Victory Services Club  on Thu and Fri 3 and 4 Dec 09.

This year has seen some definite steps taken in the right direction for the Army LGBT society, and I would like to start off by thanking all of you no matter how little or large a part you played in the past year.

October 08 LGBT Conference

My second and arguably my most important point should be to formally announce that the army will be hosting the Quad service conference on the 9th and 10th of October 2008. The conference is provisionally booked for 120 persons from all of the elements involved in the MOD, (RN, Army, RAF, and MOD Support Staff) with an aim to get a good mix of the four attending the event. I will publish further details including a DIN closer to the date.

SOME NOTES ON THE TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THE ARMY BREAK OUT SESSION AT THE 2007 FORCES LGB CONFERENCE

During the Jan 2007 Tri Service LGB conference separate single service break out sessions took place. This note summarises the topics discussed in the Army session.

Please note it is my views of what was discussed and contributions from others who were there and those who couldn’t attend would be welcome.
